MANILA, Philippines — Even without ace spiker Shevana Laput, De La Salle had no problem dispatching University of the Philippines, 25-12, 25-15, 25-19, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Wednesday to go 3-0 in the UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball tournament.

Three players scored in double digits to power the Lady Spikers, whose Laput was under the weather according to the pre-game broadcast.

Angel Canino was one of those three, firing 12 points, six excellent receptions, and five digs for La Salle which joined National University atop the team standings.

Amie Provido added 11 points as Shane Reterta chipped in 11.

Casiey Dongallo poured four points forthe Fighting Maroons who dropped to 2-1.
