MANILA, Philippines — The UST Golden Tigresses grabbed their first win of the UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball tournament as they kept the Ateneo Blue Eagles winless, 26-24, 25-18, 25-21, at the Araneta Coliseum Wednesday.
Angge Poyos unleashed 21 points and logged three excellent receptions for UST which rose to 1-2.
Regina Jurado aided Poyos with 12 points and 10 excellent digs as Xyza Gula chipped in six points.
Ana Hermosura racked up eight points and 10 digs to pace Ateneo which dropped to 0-3.
