Leeds United midfielder Joe Snowdon has signed a contract extension with the club.

The 18-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a new one-and-a-half-year deal, keeping him at Elland Road until the summer of 2024.

Snowdon signed his first professional deal with the Whites back in the summer of 2021, which was due to expire at the end of the season.

The midfielder featured 16 times across the Under-18s and Under-21s last season in all competitions, netting five goals and providing five assists.

This term he has played four times for the Under-21s in the league, whilst he has also featured three times for the Whites in the Papa John's Trophy.

Snowdon will now be looking to establish himself in Michael Skubala's side, with the Whites currently second in the Premier League 2 Division 2 table.
