Juventus midfielder Nicolo Fagioli's legal team say they have accepted his betting ban.
Fagioli has been banned from playing for seven months, which will include him taking treatment for his gambling and also speaking publicly about his addiction.
Fagioli's lawyers, Luca Ferrari and Armando Simbari, stated: "With the agreement reached, the game of active collaboration with the FIGC Prosecutor's Office ends and another one begins, even more important for Nicol, which will lead to his complete psychophysical recovery and will allow him to return on the pitch to confirm his immense talent.
"Nicol is a heritage of Italian football which, we are certain, Italian football will be able to recover and put at the centre of its project.
"He is already at work, he is training, he will continue to train with determination and he does not see it's time to get back on the field."
