PAPAR: A 13-year-old underprivileged boy died while another is in stable condition after being struck by lightning while playing football near Pekan Papar, here, Tuesday.According to a Fire and Rescue spokesperson, 11 personnel rushed to the scene after being notified at 4pm.
He said the victims were identified as Muhammad Zulqilfle Redzwan (deceased) who died on the spot and Assiy Qusyairy, 13, who sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital.
“A Fire and Rescue medical team carried out first aid on one of the victims before he was rushed to the Papar Hospital.
