Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he should 'hate' Burnley boss Vincent Kompany.

It was Kompany's goal against Leicester City that saw Manchester City win the 2018/19 Premier League title ahead of Liverpool.

Before facing Kompany's Burnley this weekend, Klopp said: Yes, I forgave him for that a long time ago.

"There are a lot of people I should hate. Arjen Robben is one of them, but I don't hate him.

"The same goes for Vincent Kompany," Klopp continues. "I think there were more defining games that season. I still think Maddison should have blocked that shot. Vincent tried to clear the ball and the ball ended up in the goal."
