Liverpool centre half Sepp van den Berg has been given a 20 million valuation by the club.

The Dutchman may be considering a move away from the club in the summer transfer window.

Per The Athletic, there is no final decision about whether to retain him or not.

Clubs around Europe are serious about securing Van den Berg, as he impressed in the Bundesliga with Mainz on loan last season.

He is now likely to be the subject of talks between the upper management at Liverpool and new head coach Arne Slot.

There had been suggestions that Mainz could buy the 22-year-old for less than 4.5 million.

However, those have been rejected by Liverpool.
