TAWAU: Police arrested a local jobless man and seized 2kg of meth worth RM120,00 after a car chase here Monday night.
Police said the suspect, 30, sped away in a MyVi from a police roadblock at Jalan Tiku, prompting police to pursue.
Police intercepted the car at the junction of Taman Megah Jaya 10 after a five-minute chase.
Police found packages containing suspected meth under the driver's seat of the car in the case which could result in the death penalty for the suspect if convicted.
