MANILA, Philippines — Filipino runner Loraine Audrey Batalla seized the girls 400m gold medal at the Indonesia U18 Open Championships 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia on Sunday.
Batalla clocked 57.14 to rule the competition, besting local bet Jasmine Mumtaz Sasy and Malaysian Deenarthni AP Seerang.
Sasy timed 61.74 seconds for the silver medal while Seerang posted 61.95 for the bronze.
Batalla goes for a double finish on Monday when she competes in the 400m hurdles.
