
Kota Kinabalu: A trailer lorry driver was killed when it crashed into an electricity post along Jalan Sepanggar, opposite the Tang Dynasty Hotel, here, on Tuesday.
Kota Kinabalu Police Chief ACP Kasim Muda said preliminary investigation showed the man in his 20s was heading towards the Customs Housing from the Sepanggar direction when the 7.10pm accident happened.
The driver was believed to have lost control of the vehicle despite not carrying any load, causing it to veer off the road.
The man was found buried under the front left side of the lorry, amidst soil and debris.
