Sporting director Fabrizio Lucchesi has questioned Napoli's appointment of new coach Walter Mazzarri.
Mazzarri has signed to the end of the season, replacing Rudi Garcia after his dismissal.
Lucchesi said, "It is not a given that the next coach will do better, with a contractual situation with only seven months of work. The message seems to be that this is a transition year, and that he will start working again from next season: this can also give alibis to the players.
"It's a complicated situation, it's not a light switch to change the coach. Today we need a coach who helps and the choice of coach is the most difficult: it is not always easy to guess. In any case, Garcia's dismissal wais inevitable and also right."
