To her surprise, her boss approved the request without asking any further questions.

She asked whether she could take half a day of annual leave the following morning as she had an interview session with another company.
Her boss simply replied, “Ok.”
The employee then thanked him before sharing the exchange online, joking that it was probably the most honest reason she had ever given when applying for leave.
