- Emergency services including Staffordshire Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service, Staffordshire Fire & Rescue and National Highways responded to the scene.
- The northbound closure is expected to remain in place until Monday afternoon to allow for police investigations, scene clearance, and resurfacing work.
- The southbound carriageway was temporarily closed to allow emergency services access to the crash site but has since reopened.
- National Highways has implemented diversion routes and advised motorists to allow extra travel time, seek alternative routes, or delay their journeys.
