Kota Kinabalu: Excitement is building for Malaysia, especially for Sabah, when some 100 talented dancers (solo and groups) from Sabah and Sarawak qualify for the Dance World Cup 2025 (DWC 2025) set to take place in Burgos, Spain, this July.

The qualifying rounds were held on Jan 16-17 at the National Department for Culture and Arts (JKKN) Sabah, with participation from the peninsula, apart from Sabah and Sarawak.

AdvertisementThe organiser of the DWC2025 Malaysia Qualifying Rounds, Mohd Hairul Nazmie Talib @ Shah, from the Windbreeze Cultural Association, collaborated with JKKN Sabah to organise the event aimed at selecting the final qualifying dancers for the prestigious world championship.

A total of 28 teams comprising 166 dancers represented Sarawak, Johor, Penang and Selangor.
