Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has urged Jack Grealish to improve his goalscoring.

Despite criticism of his performances, the City boss has been impressed by Grealish this season.

"Sometimes people need time to realise what they have to do and we are very pleased," Guardiola said.

"The last game and the previous game (against FC Copenhagen) he played against Manchester United, he's played really good. He never will be a top, top scorer but this is the next step. You can learn.

"If you said I'm going to make the next step in my career, try to make more goals and assists, and that's my next target. He can do it. He can prove whatever he wants. He's more aggressive."
