Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is unsure about Kalvin Phillips' playing return.
The England midfielder now risks making the World Cup.
Guardiola said, "I hope so for him and for the national team. For his chance to go I hope so. But I'm not a doctor, I don't know. This summer I'll take [lessons] as a doctor and let you know.
"I wish the England team can do a good tournament.
"I have respect for Gareth [Southgate], I know most of the players and I live in this country. Hopefully they can do it."
