
Tuaran: The body of a man was found hanging from a tree near a water treatment plant here, on Friday. Police are now looking for the deceased’s next-of-kin.
Tuaran District Police Chief DSP Noraindin Ag Maidin said a 46-year-old woman alerted police after she saw the body some 12 metres away while painting the fence of the water treatment plant at about 12.14pm.
He said a team deployed to the scene discovered the body with a white cloth around the neck.
The deceased has been identified as a man in his 40s with curly hair, tanned complexion and a height of 162 centimetres.

The case has been classified as sudden death.
The body has been sent to the Tuaran Hospital’s Forensics.
