KOTA KINABALU: A 69-year-old man was found dead inside his car in Taman Sinar, along Jalan Bukit Temasu, here, on Sunday morning.

Emergency services were alerted at 10.03am, and a fire and rescue team from the Lintas Fire Station arrived at the scene eight minutes later.

AdvertisementThe fire department used specialised tools to unlock the car, a Perodua Viva, and found the victim unconscious, with the vehicle's engine still running.

Medical personnel from the Health Ministry declared the man dead at the scene, and the case was then handed over to the police for further investigation.
