
RANAU: A man sustained minor injuries while four others escaped unhurt after their car plunged into a 20-foot ravine at Kampung Kinarasan along Jalan Ranau-Tambunan this afternoon.
The Fire and Rescue Department received the emergency call at 3.46pm and arrived at the scene, about 10 kilometres away, by 4pm.
The accident involved a Perodua Axia that had veered off the road before falling into the ravine.
The injured victim was given initial treatment by the EMRS team before being transported to Ranau Hospital by ambulance.
The operation concluded at 4.30pm after ensuring no further hazards were present.
