TAWAU: A man died when he was trapped in his car after colliding with a trailer at KM65 Jalan Tawau - Kunak around noon, Monday.
Tawau district police chief, ACP Jasmin Hussin, said the victim, 55, died at the scene, while his wife, 55, was slightly injured.
The trailer driver, 28, did not suffer injuries. According to him, the accident occurred when the lorry was heading to Sungai Burong Lahad Datu and the victim was driving an Isuzu D-Max from the direction of Tawau to Kg Jaya Kunak.
