KUDAT: A man was seriously injured when his Perodua Myvi was involved in an accident with two other vehicles at Mile 4, Sikuati-Kudat Road, Wednesday.
According to the head of the Kudat Fire and Rescue Department, Ishak Jabas, Kasturi Mandin, 49, was seriously hurt.
However, his wife, Maslina Matli, 46, and daughter Nurul Syazwani, 20, escaped with light injuries.
“Five firemen led by Sentay Bakau accompanied by an EMRS unit rushed to the scene upon receiving a call at 9.56am.
“The other two vehicles were a Proton Saga and a lorry whose drivers were uninjured. “The injured were sent to hospital by an ambulance,” he added.
