Manchester United are hopeful Raphael Varane will be back within the next week.
The French centre-half was initially slated to miss the remainder of the season, but has an outside chance of being fit for the FA Cup final.
Instead, the Manchester Evening News states that Varane may even play against Wolves next week in the Premier League.
Another who may be back soon, according to his boss Erik ten Hag, is Scott McTominay.
The Scottish midfielder has been absent with an unknown issue in recent weeks.
"Prognosis: Rapha is closer than Scott McTominay in this moment but still for the coming two games they are not available," Ten Hag said on Wednesday to reporters.
