Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag admits Sheffield United manager Paul Heckingbottom surprised him yesterday.
United won 2-1 at Bramall Lane, with Ten Hag conceding Heckingbottom's formation was unexpected.
The Dutchman said, "We are, of course, pleased with the victory.
"The first half was not the best on our part, but from the second half we controlled the game and won with a great goal.
"Sheffield United had a lot of energy and played in a formation we didn't expect. But we managed to adapt.
"In the Premier League you have to fight for every point, you have to give your all in every match, because nothing comes easy."
