Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is eager to fast-track Alejandro Garnacho into the first team.

Ten Hag had staff at Manchester United's Carrington training base set him up with an MUTV subscription so he could watch the FA Youth Cup final win over Nottingham Forest.

Alejandro Garnacho impressed for Manchester United's u18s in the FA Youth Cup last season, says the Mirror.

While Ten Hag was said to be keen to assess all of United's youth talent, his focus was on Garnacho who he views as having real potential of being able to break into the first team.

Garnacho starred that night as he scored twice in a 3-1 triumph.

The young forward made his senior debut as a late substitute in 1-1 draw with Chelsea back in April. United are currently said to be prioritising a new deal for the young forward, believed to be a six-year contract.
