Mike Phelan is set for an expanded role at Manchester United.
The Sun says Phelan is to get a bigger role in the backroom under new boss Erik ten Hag.
He was overlooked when Ralf Rangnick was in charge.
But he will be kept on by Ten Hag and see his duties expand on and off the training pitch. Phelan was originally brought back to the club to act as assistant to former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
