Manchester United are set to continue their nurturing of Kobbie Mainoo this season.
The midfielder is one who manager Erik ten Hag rates extremely highly at present.
However, Mainoo has been eased into the first team since recovering from an ankle injury sustained in pre-season.
Per the Manchester Evening News, United are shielding him from media duties as well.
Mainoo's feet are so firmly on the ground that many at United are surprised at his maturity.
Speaking about him on Sunday, Ten Hag stated after a 0-0 draw with Liverpool: "When you are good enough, you are old enough and he proved that. When he gets used more often in those games, he will get even more joy from it.
"With his skill, with his speed of action, he can get such passes, three or four passes in and get switches in. And then he's the player who can really hurt opponents."
