Manchester United co-owner Avram Glazer has been seen at a hotel owned by the father of Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Sheikh Jassim is battling Sir Jim Ratcliffe to buy United from the Glazer family.

The Mirror has published photos showing Glazer leaving Claridge's.

The hotel is part of the Maybourne Hotel Group, owned by Sheikh Jassim's father, Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani.

For the moment, Ratcliffe is regarded as favourite in the bidding war having tabled a superior offer to the Qatari.

It's been suggested Sheikh Jassim's move has been hit by the collapse of Credit Suiss bank, of which the Qatari Royal family is a shareholder.
