Manchester United incoming investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe faces a crucial decision regarding two veteran players.

The INEOS chief is buying 25 percent of United's shares and assuming sporting control.

While Ratcliffe will appoint a CEO at United and a sporting director, he will have some input on major decisions.

Per The Mail, one of his first conundrums involves the futures of Casemiro and Raphael Varane.

Neither have set the world alight since they left Real Madrid for United, with Varane often out injured over the past two seasons.

Casemiro did impress last term, but has appeared to regress to a much lower level this term.

Both players could be wanted by clubs in the Saudi Pro League, while Chelsea also have interest in Varane.
