Manchester United are seeking to assure Mason Mount they're determined to reach terms with Chelsea.
With a year left on his Blues deal, Chelsea are playing hard ball over the England midfielder's sale.
Mount has long settled on personal terms, but Chelsea are demanding premium price to let him leave.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting: "Manchester United have sent messages to Mason Mount confirming intention to insist in the next days. Personal terms, not an issue as player's keen on the move."
He added: "MUFC Chelsea keep asking for 80m fee, this is why deal was not progressing this week but it's not over."
