Manchester United prospective bidder Sir Jim Ratcliffe's deal to take a 25 percent stake in the club will have to wait.
The British billionaire is hoping for the club's board to ratify his new investment.
Ratcliffe will be buying shares from the Glazer family, lowering their stake in the club.
He will also, per various British media reports including The Mail, be requesting full control over sporting matters at United.
Ratcliffe's INEOS company are hoping to take over United fully in the coming years.
Unfortunately for fans, the deal is not likely to go through before the January transfer window.
