THE Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) has issued several road closures for the upcoming Pride parade in the city on Saturday.
In a Facebook post, the MPIO said the road closures and rerouting schemes will start at 8 a.m. on Saturday, covering Remedios Circle; the stretch of Jorge Bocobo Street, from San Andres Street to Remedios Circle; and the stretch of Remedios Street, from Jorge Bocobo Street to Guerrero Street.
The city government also said “stop-and-go” traffic management will be implemented at several key intersections to help ease traffic flow during the event. These include:

– A. Mabini Street corner San Andres Street
– A. Mabini Street corner Alonzo Street
– A. Mabini Street corner Quintos Street
– A. Mabini Street corner Pedro Gil Street

– A. Mabini Street corner Sta. Monica Street
– A. Mabini Street corner P. Faura Street
– Adriatico Street corner P. Faura Street
– Adriatico Street corner Pedro Gil Street
– Pedro Gil Street corner Maria Orosa Street
– Gen. Malvar Street corner Maria Orosa Street
Motorists are advised to take note of the affected areas and plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
