MANILA, Philippines — The City of Manila suspended face-to-face (F2F) classes at all levels in public and private schools on Tuesday, Sept. 8, with shift to alternative delivery mode (ADM).
"Latest weather model shows cloudy with intermittent light to moderate to at times heavy rains tomorrow due to Southwest Monsoon (Habagat)," Manila Mayor Isko Moreno said on Facebook.
With this, Moreno said, the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department "recommends the suspension of classes on all levels for both public and private today...as precautionary measure for anticipated heavy rains."
Valenzuela, Mandaluyong, and Quezon City have also suspended Tuesday's F2F classes at all levels in public and private schools with shift to ADM, based on a post on Facebook by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.
Las Piñas suspended classes at all levels in public and private schools.
