MANILA, Philippines — Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko" Moreno Domagoso suspended Tuesday's face-to-face (F2F) classes at all levels in public and private schools.
He cited "inclement weather brought about by the enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat)."
Domagoso ordered the suspension of classes upon the recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (Mcdrrmd).
"According to the MCDRRMD, consistent weather models indicate moderate to heavy, at time intense rainfall expected throughout the day," he said.
"Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode," he said.
