
MANILA, Philippines — Marikina suspended Tuesday's face-to-face (F2F) and online classes as rain.
"Because the Marikina River already reached the 1ST ALARM (15 meters) as of 12:40PM, FACE-TO-FACE and ONLINE CLASSES at ALL LEVELS in public and private schools in the City of Marikina are SUSPENDED TOMORROW, August 18, 2026," Mayor Maan Teodoro said on Facebook.
The river's water level reached 16.8 meters at 2:52 p.m., the city's Public Information Office said on Facebook.
