
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said most of Luzon and Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms on Monday because of the southwest monsoon.
"On our weather condition tomorrow, Monday, the southwest monsoon will bring rains for most of Luzon and Visayas," weather specialist Grace Castañeda-Carpio said on Sunday.
She said occasional rains will continue in Zambales, Bataan, Batangas and Occidental Mindoro.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, the rest of Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and the rest of Mimaropa will have cloudy skies and sudden downpours.
The rest of Luzon will have isolated rains.
Pagasa forecasted 50 to 100 mm of rainfall from Monday afternoon to Tuesday afternoon in Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro.
It forecasted 50 to 100 mm of rainfall from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday afternoon in Zambales, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro and Palawan and 100 to 200 mm of rainfall in Occidental Mindoro from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday afternoon.
