Days after Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was declared “anti-Guru” by the Akal Takht over an alleged video, forensic analysis has found the clip to be fake. Mann said forensic tests from labs outside Punjab showed the person in the video did not resemble him and that an impersonator had been used.
The Chief Minister, who had the video examined at independent labs, said the technical analysis had exposed those trying to defame him.
He said the video was part of a conspiracy to mislead people and damage his reputation.
Mann added that he had already written to the Centre, seeking a detailed probe to identify those behind the fake video and bring them to justice.
