MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. wants former representative Zaldy Co arrested "at all costs," Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said Thursday.
Speaking to reporters at the Senate, Remulla said he will travel to France within the next two weeks for Co's arrest, saying that authorities know his location.
"That’s the agenda, that’s the agenda. Zaldy Co is the agenda … we know where he is, we know the address, we know his house. It’s to get him back here," Remulla said.
Remulla said that he will be coordinating with law enforcement agencies to help secure an Interpol Red Notice, which has yet to be issued.
He expressed confidence Co could eventually be returned to the country.
Asked about Marcos’ marching orders regarding Co, Remulla said, "At all costs."
"The truth and the law are behind us and I think we can conclusively prove that once the warrant of arrest is in order," he added.
