- The couple revealed their union during a rare joint appearance on the red carpet at the London Film Festival, where both were seen wearing gold bands on their wedding fingers.
- Benaissa, 34, who was born in Toulouse and raised in London, is known for her roles in the BBC drama Normal People, the comedy series This Way Up, and Netflix's Irish Wish.
- The pair began dating in 2020 following Freeman's 2016 split from his Sherlock co-star Amanda Abbington, with whom he spent 16 years and shares two children.
