Some exciting news for gaming and Marvel fans as NetEase Games revealed new details about the upcoming Season 10.5 update for Marvel Rivals.
As part of the Path to Doomsday event, Season 10.5 will introduce two new game modes: Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.
Infinity War is described as a fast-paced 2v2 PvP mode built around short rounds, random drafting and intense duo matchups. Players will form six teams of two, with each player able to select from a roster of 13 playable heroes.
The teams will then compete in a round-robin tournament, facing off in 2v2 deathmatches set in Wakanda. To make things more interesting, each team will be randomly assigned an Infinity Stone at the start of a match, granting them additional abilities in battle.
Endgame, meanwhile, is a massive PvE mode where 50 players will assemble in the ruins of the Avengers Compound to battle Thanos and his army, mirroring the climactic final battle from the movie.
Other additions include Halloween-themed costumes and several movie-inspired outfits based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Season 10.5 of Marvel Rivals launches on October 9.
