SHAH ALAM, Jan 10 — The Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI Foundation has allocated RM1 million this year for school infrastructure repair assistance throughout the state.

Its chief Ahmad Azri Zainal Nor said the annual funding is provided to improve facilities and enhance the quality of learning for students in schools.

“Each year, the MBI Foundation allocates special funds for educational development programmes, including school infrastructure repairs.

“This year, a total of RM1 million will be distributed to schools in need of facility upgrades. Hopefully, this assistance will benefit students and educators alike,” he said when contacted.

Yesterday, the foundation handed over RM50,000 in infrastructure repair contributions to five selected schools around Klang.

The schools include SK (1) Jalan Meru, SK Sungai Udang, SK Telok Gadong, SMK Convent, and SMK Sri Andalas.
