Mesut Ozil has seen his contract with Fenerbahce terminated.
The midfielder had not featured for the Turkish Super Lig side since March 20 after he was excluded from the squad following a row over his fitness.
NTVSpor says Ozil has not been 'pardoned' after his troubles from the previous campaign.
The same outlet have added that his departure is by mutual agreement, however.
And former Arsenal star Ozil is expected to move within Turkey to continue his career.
