Michael Block is making his senior major championship debut this week in Columbus, Ohio, at the US Senior Open.
Block made his PGA Tour Champions debut last week and earned a top-10 finish, despite making a triple bogey on his final hole.
The 50-year-old shot to fame three years ago at Oak Hill Country Club when he played alongside Rory McIlroy in the final round of the PGA Championship.
Michael Block made a slam dunk hole-in-one on the 15th hole – one that is still talked about to this very day.

His performance at the PGA Championship in 2023 opened so many doors for him.
Block will now be teeing it up at the Senior US Open this week, and he will undoubtedly be hoping to contend at the very least.
However, while he loved every minute of the PGA three years ago, the aftermath proved challenging for him at times.
Michael Block shares the request he made to the PGA of America
The 50-year-old American addressed the media on Wednesday ahead of the start of the US Senior Open.
Block responded when asked whether he still gets asked about the hole-in-one he made at the PGA Championship in 2023.
“It’s a lot. It’s great. It’s fantastic,“ he said.
“Obviously for the year, just post that 2023 PGA, like I told people I got sick of looking at it and seeing that hole-in-one.

“I started telling the PGA of America saying, no, no, I’m not posting anything else. I’m out for a bit.
“So it’s been great. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. It was definitely a life-changing moment for me, a life-changing shot and week. It was very cool for that to happen in the sport that I love so much.“
The reality of the matter is that the hole-in-one that Block made at Oak Hill Country Club in 2023 is actually what made him famous.
Michael Block says whether he wants to become a touring pro full-time
Block was asked by reporters whether he could actually ditch his everyday teaching job to become a full-time player on PGA Tour Champions.
“I don’t really want it to be my job, you know,“ he said.
“Me personally, six, seven, eight events, something in that range would be absolutely ideal. Like I said last week when I was doing all right.
“Who knows? If I was lucky enough, fortunate enough to win one, let’s talk after that and say, you know, would I get out there and play 20 events, maybe I would.
“But in reality what makes me super, super happy is just being out here, be able to go back to my golf course next week, and I’ll be back home for the next I think three, four weeks at the club, which is nice.
“At the same time, I hope I get into Boeing, and I’ll be there in three weeks. At the same time, it’s kind of a day-by-day thing for me right now. I’m going to see how it goes this week here at the Senior U.S. Open, and hope it goes well.“
