Middlesbrough boss Chris Wilder admits they've accepted an offer for Marcus Tavernier.

The attacking midfielder has been linked with Nottingham Forest and Brentford.

Wilder said today: "When it comes down to the small details and his desire for a transfer, then it just becomes a matter of negotiating a price, which is out of my hands.

"We did everything we could to keep Marcus, but now we have to look forward."

Tavernier played 44 Championship games with five goals and five assists last season.
