
Kota Kinabalu: A martial arts coach was charged with seven counts of molesting a woman by the Magistrate Court, Thursday.
Yuslainie Awang Yusof pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Wan Farrah Farriza Wan Ghazali to allegedly committed the offence against the victim on Aug 20 at 11.15pm, Sept 3 at 10.30am, Nov 9 at 11pm, Nov 11 at 6.20pm, Nov 12 at 6.30pm and Nov 12 at 7.30pm in various location here and Putatan.
The charge under Section 354 of the Penal Code provides for a jail term of up to 10 years, or with a fine or with whipping, or with any two of such punishments, on conviction.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Ling Guong Zin in applying for a mention date proposed bail at RM5,000 in two sureties.

The court released the accused on a bail of RM14,000 with two sureties.
In the same court, a security guard was jailed seven months for taking syabu.
Jonathan Jusrin, 25, pleaded guilty to committing the offence at 7.40pm on Oct 23 in Penampang.
He was charged under Section 15 (1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act which provides for a fine of up to RM5,000 or up to two years’ jail, on conviction.
The court also ordered Jonathan to undergo police supervision for two years upon his release from prison.
Duty Counsel Lim Ming Zoong requested leniency for Jonathan while DPP Ling applied for a deterrent sentence.
