RANAU: A member of the Mountain Search and Rescue Team (Mosar) was himself injured while on duty rescuing an injured climber on Mount Kinabalu, Thursday.
Ranau Fire and Rescue Department Chief PPgB Ridwan Mohd Taib said the incident happened about 11am at Km 5.4, near Pondok Paka, on Mount Kinabalu trail.
“We received a call from a mountain guide informing that a 52-year-old woman slipped and fell while climbing up to Laban Rata, resulting in her suffering from a sprained leg.
