TAWAU: A man sustained serious injuries when his Yamaha motorcycle collided with a lorry in front of the Jalan Access Kuhara intersection at about 6pm, Saturday.
Tawau District Police Chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said the 22-year-old was travelling from the direction of Taman Semarak back to his house in Batu 5 Jalan Apas.
The 49-year-old Isuzu lorry driver escaped unscathed.
Preliminary investigations showed that the collision between the motorcycle and the lorry occurred when the lorry abruptly exited the intersection towards Jalan Access Kuhara.
