PENAMPANG: A 31-year-old motorcyclist died in an accident near a furniture store along the Penampang – Tambunan road early Sunday.
District police chief, Supt. Sammy Newton said the man was pronounced dead at the 5.30am scene by Queen Elizabeth Hospital paramedics.
Advertisement“The body was sent to forensics for post-mortem. The car driver, a 26-year-old local man was unharmed.
“The suspect was taken to the station for further investigation according to Section 44 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987,” he said in a statement.
