
Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh, organised an enriching four-day, three-night educational excursion to Koti, Chail, for its students. The trip commenced on an enthusiastic note as students assembled on the school campus and departed after a prayer ceremony seeking blessings for a safe and enjoyable journey. The excursion offered a perfect blend of adventure, teamwork, creativity and recreation amidst the scenic hills of Chail. Students enthusiastically participated in activities such as a high-rope course, ziplining and team-building exercises that promoted courage, confidence and cooperation. A Fireless Cooking Challenge added a creative dimension to the experience, while rapid-fire games and group activities filled the days with energy, laughter and camaraderie. A specially organised treasure hunt further strengthened teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills. The evenings featured reflection sessions, music, bonfire interactions and group celebrations that fostered friendships and created lasting memories. The trip concluded with a cheerful closing ceremony during which participants shared their experiences and received certificates in recognition of their active participation. Principal Dr Parveena John Singh remarked that such educational excursions play an important role in developing confidence, teamwork, leadership qualities and lifelong memories among students.
