Panic gripped the Palda road in Gurugram when a moving truck caught fire. The truck quickly became a ball of fire, and a short while later, there was a massive explosion. The driver jumped out of the vehicle to save his life.
According to the police, it was around 4 pm when the truck was passing through the Palda road under the Badshahpur police station when smoke suddenly began to come out from the truck. The driver jumped out of the truck and saved his life.
According to the driver, the truck was carrying a flammable chemical used in cement production.
The fire was so intense that the CNG cylinder in the truck also caught fire, causing a powerful explosion. The explosion was heard far and wide, prompting local residents even to rush out of their homes.
After getting information, a team of fire brigade reached the spot. Firefighters managed to control the fire, but by then the truck was completely engulfed in flames.
Cops blocked the road on both sides as a precautionary measure.
