West Ham United boss David Moyes branded his side's defending as "rotten" after they lost to Nottingham Forest.

The Hammers have began the new season in poor form, losing their first two games of the season.

Taiwo Awoniyi scored the only goal of the game for Forest on Sunday in the Premier League.

Post-game, Moyes told Sky Sports: "It was rotten — rotten to the core. Really, really poor defending generally, all over.

"Keystones Cops, with it. It was poor defending all round.

"We're going to have to play better, defend better and score better. There's a bit to do yet."
